IMPORTED FROM IRAN 

The town of Shiraz, after which Javad named his Gallery, is in the Fars region of Southern Persia and was once the capital of the country. He travels to Iran on a regular basis to purchase rugs, carpets, kilims and textiles.

CLEANING AND REPAIR

We hand clean and repair rugs, maintaining the rug's weaving style, painstakingly recreating patterns and colours to match the original and repairing weakened areas, fringes and edges.

GALLERY IN A BLUE-STONE CHURCH

The restoration of the old blue-stone church (circa 1892) which houses the Gallery features many historic features and is worth the visit just to see the exquisite detail.
